Session 2 - New concepts to help you stand back
and analyse your practice
- Concepts to help you identify how effective and
efficient your practice is and to help you assess
performance.
- New and established ideas on marketing and
options for developing your practice.
Session 3 - Keeping business and family issues
in balance
- Family issues that can impact on the
business and business issues that can impact on
the family.
- Changes in personal circumstances that may
happen during the lifetime of the practice and
plans and actions that can be taken to minimise
the impact of these.

Getting to grips with the future -
Session 1 - Developing your practice for the
future
- The key elements of a business plan.

other develop or modify your existing plans.

Session 2 -How does our plan stand up?
- Small groups present one plan to
a panel consisting of Chris, Alex and one other.

Review and discussion.
Session 3 - Review
- Key learning points.
- Future things to do.
Pricing
The courses are priced at £175 for two days or
£125 for one day.
Seminar Tutors
Chris Swaffin-Smith B.Sc M.Phil
Chris is an adviser, academic and mentor who has
worked with Podiatrists and others working in
Private Practice for over twenty years. He worked
with the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists to
produce material for their website on starting up
and developing a practice. He also works with
family. He also works with a range of other
businesses as a family business adviser and in
helping to turn businesses around.
Alex
Catto
Alex has run a very successful Practice in South
London. He has also given numerous talks to groups
of Practitioners throughout the UK. He is a great
advocate of the Private Practice as a business. |
